Import From Taho

Import from Taho or Tally Ho To BlockWallet

Currently, Taho does not offer an option to export your seed phrase or private key after the initial onboarding process. If you haven’t saved your seed phrase during this process, you won’t be able to export your self-custodial wallet to BlockWallet.

If you're considering transitioning to BlockWallet, the first step you'd need to undertake is creating a fresh account.

Initiating the process begins by setting up a new account with BlockWallet. The experience is intuitive, to registering for most standard online platforms. This ensures that even if you're new to BlockWallet, you won't find the process daunting.

After successfully creating your account, the next phase involves moving your assets. Specifically, you'll need to manually transfer any funds you have in your Taho or Tally Ho account over to this newly created BlockWallet account. While it might initially seem like an extra layer of work compared to a direct "export" function, there's a reason for this manual approach. Extra steps, though they may require a bit more effort on the user's part, often provide an added layer of security.
